Business class is no longer an empty word.
Its a word that, like the rest of the nation, has become politicized over the past week, and a word for which many people have little idea what it means.
But that doesn’t mean that the word has become as much of a divisive issue as it once was.
It’s no longer a name for white working class people who feel they’ve been treated unfairly by the Trump administration.
It’s a name that many people use as a shorthand for what people in that class can expect.
But for those of us who grew up in the class system, it means much more than that.
